A Walk Into Cornucopia’s Past Achievement
Cornucopia Environmental Learning Center
The Cornucopia Foundation has long stood at the vanguard of environmental education, pioneering an innovative approach that extends from preschool to college levels. Recognizing the vital need for an integrated and comprehensive curriculum to instill environmental stewardship from an early age, the Foundation took the unprecedented step of designing its own educational programs. This bespoke curriculum, crafted with meticulous care and a deep understanding of ecological principles, was not just a theoretical exercise; it was rigorously tested in real-world settings, yielding remarkable results. The success of this initiative marked a significant milestone for the Foundation, laying the groundwork for its mission to enlighten and empower future generations.
The future of our planet is not by chance,
but by choice.
With this foundation in place, The Cornucopia Foundation has redoubled its efforts, now focusing intently on Environmental Outreach. This new phase amplifies the initial achievements, expanding the reach and deepening the impact of the Foundation's educational efforts. By fostering a profound connection with the environment and promoting sustainable practices among a broader audience, the Foundation continues to fulfill its mission. It stands as a testament to what can be achieved when innovation meets commitment, ensuring that the principles of environmental care and conservation are passed on to every new generation.

The Cornucopia Foundation successfully accomplished its objective of implementing environmental education in schools across Southern California, marking the initial phase as a triumph. Regrettably, the program was terminated following the detection of hazardous chemicals within local school premises. Despite this setback, the foundation remained steadfast in its commitment to furthering its mission. In response to the presence of toxic substances, we extended our support by providing access to our learning center to both high and elementary schools during the remediation process aimed at eliminating these harmful pollutants from the school buildings.
